FLAMENCORANEO

“Flamencoraneo” is a fusion of classical, traditional flamenco and contemporary dancing. It combines this two seemingly different structures - modern and inheritated, fluid and rigid. The authors are investigating the possibility of communication between this pair of binary set. Flamencoraneo recognizes the identity of a modern human as a neccesserily eclectic, compound of different structures in their nature or origin, and int this unity authors find space for their articulation of their own artistic expression. 

 

Classical qualities are drawing our identity and their erasing would mean disregarding the past. A modern human desires freedom and does not accept confinement. The battle betweeen these principles is a neccessity, but the new does not come from the battle but from the recognition. The authors prefer deconstruction to destruction, integration to collision.
